The most extravagant thing you can do with love is keep this exact feeling intact. The sweetest things said out loud fade into the everyday — but put them in a letter, addressed to your first anniversary, the night before your wedding, or an ordinary day ten years from now, and they become proof, delivered to your future selves, of what this love looked like at the start. - Pick a delivery date that means something: your anniversary, their birthday, or a future the two of you have promised each other.
